Principles for long term success & making your own dark chocolate

Note from your teacher;

You have come so far and learned so much! I am really proud of you and I hope you are proud of yourself. Just think back to how you ate, moved, slept and felt before you started this journey. Understand that this is a process that you must take one day at a time, it will keep you humble in the world of optimal and long term health and fat loss. I will always be around to answer your questions, just reach out. The Facebook group will always be there, my Podcasts will keep going until I run out of content and you will always have the guide to revert back to!

I believe in you! Believe in yourself.

I have compiled all the links to my cookbooks – all can be used throughout the year, not just seasonal. Some of the recipes were created some time ago, so may need a bit of updating or tweaking, but you can ask me if you have doubts. They are really good and easy. Put these to good use as they are TOOLS! You have lots of tools now. The only thing that will stop you from success is you!

Long term success does desire that you follow certain principles though. They are;

Consistency - you must show up every day! Even when you don't want to!

Understand there MUST be some sort of restriction, but pick the thing that feels the least restrictive to you.

Remember; if the diet is not sustainable to your lifestyle, you will fail.

Willpower - willpower is a muscle and to make it stronger you must exercise it regularly, like you would any other muscle in your body. But willpower is finite! So when willpower runs out, let discipline drive you home!

Discipline - practice this as much as possible. Some days will be hard and some easy. Such is life but it is overcoming those hard days that makes us "feel" pride and shows us what we can do.

Accountability - some say this is the key to success. Whether or not you believe this, hold yourself accountable or ask me and the group to.

Motivation - gets us going but...

Inspiration - keeps us going! Find your why! Why do you want to get healthier, lose weight and feel your best? Who or what inspires you?

No excuses! There will always be stress and challenges in life but you can not keep using them for excuses. They will only make you feel worse and resent yourself. Remember; no one every regrets a good workout, walk or sticking to their nutrition plan. Do it for you and no one else!

Mindset - this is our biggest challenge as it can talk us out of all of the above! But if you constantly work on staying in a positive "why driven" mindset, have a plan, routines set in place, and execute with discipline, then you will stay focused on your goals and reach them in no time.

Make your own raw dark chocolate at home. This is so easy and so delicious! It can save you money on buying dark chocolate in the store adn you can play around with recipes to your tastes.

Dark chocolate is one of my favorite health foods. I love it for its disease prevention molecules, its taste and dense nutrients. Have fun trying this!
